Why the first shot missed

The Max Holland theory of an early first shot says it hit the traffic signal support pole.  In fact, Oswald used it for the indispensable requirement of sighting-in the rifle (also known as zeroing).  It wasn’t aimed at the limousine.  It was purposefully fired downrange, causing the fresh bullet mark in the south curb of Main Street more than three seconds earlier than Holland claims, exactly where the seven frames were spliced out of the Tina Towner film by the FBI to hide her camera-jiggle reaction to that first shot!
